Pearls of Wisdom from El Rushbo: "It's not new. It's not change. And it's not hope!"

By John W. Lillpop

Rush Limbaugh's "first ever address to the nation," on Saturday was a smashing success, despite being way overdue and at least a year too late.

El Rushbo was articulate, funny, and spot on with his recitation of the horrors accompanying the unchecked liberalism now running wild in the Executive and Legislative branches of government in Washington, D.C.

Limbaugh, though distressed by the 2008 election, refused to describe the results as "humiliating," preferring instead to admit that the Republican party failed because it did not nominate a conservative for the presidency.

Rush scored another excellent point when he scolded conservative pundits and politicians for urging the GOP to drift left in order to attract more voters in future election.

Pandering to Hispanics who have no regard for America's borders, sovereignty, and immigration laws would be an example of what Rush was talking about.

In fact, that blind spot for the rule of law cost both President Bush and candidate John McCain dearly. Why any alleged conservative would refuse to enforce an important law in order to gain favor with a particular racial group is truly mind-boggling.

And it is sooooooooooo liberal-like!

Judging the quality of Limbaugh's "first ever" is simple: His remarks drew blood and outrage from the purveyors of lame liberalism.

CNN's Bill Schneider's remarks prove the point:

"The tone of this speech was mocking, bullying, it was full of contempt, and I thought it was a very harsh speech. One that while it rallied the conservative audience it also angered a lot of Democrats and people who aren't particularly partisan just by the tone of it."

Earth to Schneider: John McCain lost the election, at least partially, because he was afraid to anger Democrats and those not particularly partisan.

Limbaugh on the other hand, is not afraid of telling the truth, and that quality is exactly what the GOP needs!

In another tell tale sign, Obama Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel said, in part, about Limbaugh: " 'He is the voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party. And I think that's the wrong philosophy for America,' Emanuel said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

With the remarks of Bill Schneider and Rahm Emanuel to his credit, Rush Limbaugh needs no further proof that he is exactly right on target!

Go, El Rushbo!
